I am a little over four weeks postop from my lipo procedure but I am still feeling numb in my lipo areas. I am starting to get concerned is this normal? Is there a possibility that nervous could have been damaged during lipo. If not when will I start to get feeling back?

Answer: Numbness After Lipo Numbness following liposuction is normal. It can take 6-12 months for your nerve endings to heal and for you to have normal sensation. In some cases the nerves do not fully recover, but it is very early in your recovery process and too early to tell. Most likely you will regain full feeling as time goes by and you have more time to heal. Best Wishes, Dr. Sadrian
