I'm still feeling numb after lipo, when will my feeling come back?

I would echo what some of the other surgeons stated. Numbness can take many months, even up to a year to resolve. Numbness at 4wks is very typical. 

This can be typical and should resolve over the next several months. You also have swelling, which can last 3-6 months after your procedure. I recommend adding hyperbaric oxygen and lymphatic massage along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Yes numbness after lipo is normal and can last a few months after the procedure.  It's extremely unusual for nerves to  be damaged from lipo, the numbness is usually due to swelling which compresses the nerves slightly leaving areas feeling numb.  Here's a tip, of it's on both sides, it's probably not from a nerve injury  but from swelling. Numbness following liposuction is normal. It can take 6-12 months for your nerve endings to heal and for you to have normal sensation. In some cases the nerves do not fully recover, but it is very early in your recovery process and too early to tell. Most likely you will regain full feeling as time goes by and you have more time to heal.

Numbness can last for upto 6 months following any type of surgical procedure. You need to be patient and your numbness will subside.
