About BBL. I’m trying my best to gain as much weight before my BBL. So, I identify as trans, MTF. I want to undergo a BBL to dramatically enhance my hip-dips. I weighed 82 kg before I started gaining weight, I’m 193 meters tall. Now I am 92 kg. I want to reach these results (photos attached). Some doctors told me it’s not possible to fill in the hips to reach those results through BBL only. They told me I would need body filler as well. Is that true? I’ll insert some of my photos and current state of my body as well.
Answer: Liposuction and BBL candidate Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL). Kind regards

Answer: Hybrid technique (BBL and Gluteal Implant) As you don't have enough fat in your body, it is better to combine the BBL with a gluteal implant. Avoid having any body fillers, there are many patients that have ruined their health with body fillers.

Answer: Comparing apples and oranges The women in your wish pictures Arlene, have a low BMI and have a completely different skeletal structure. The amount of fat that can be successfully grafted is primarily based on the amount of soft tissue that can support the graft in the area you want to augmented. If done correctly the limiting factor is the amount of host tissue for a single session of fat transfer. Grafting more than what the host tissue can support simply increases fat necrosis and fat graft loss. I do not recommend anybody gain weight for the purpose of having fat transfer procedures. If you lose weight later you’ll just lose the results with it. Instead for people who May have insufficient amounts of fat to graft it’s better to include more areas with Liposuction. If having the absolute maximum volume is very important to you then it’s better to graft conservatively and save some fat and have this done as a staged procedure gradually building up the volume. Grafting conservative amounts of fat will give you a higher percentage of fat survival. In the end working with the most talented and experienced provider is the single most important variable. Once you’re in the hands of the most experienced and talented provider they will guide you through the process including various options on how to get the best results possible and explain each variable including options. Two rounds of fat transfer with modest amount is better than grafting a lot of fat in one procedure. Unless you plan on maintaining the increased Weight gaining weight for the procedure makes no sense. Delivering consistent quality results when it comes to liposuction and fat transfer is more difficult than most people believe. To master these procedures takes an immense amount experience. The difference in outcomes simply based on personal philosophy, the amount of experience and inherent skill varies immensely among providers. Finally the right provider is by far the most important variable and I suggest patients who take the procedure seriously will put in a significant effort by having as many in person consultations as it takes to find the most talented provider in their community. Judicial use of the fat available and careful secondary liposuction and previously untreated areas is you is your best hub forgetting anything that resembles your wish pictures. In the end your results will not look like them because they have completely different skeletal structures. Your result will look like you with a fat transfer. Look for before and after pictures with patients who have similar body characteristics to your own to get a better idea of what can or cannot be achieved. When reviewing before and after pictures online or during consultations always make absolutely sure that after pictures are taken at least three months from the date of the procedure. Early postoperative pictures can be very impressive but do not at all represent final results. Sometimes there is simply are inherent limitations to what can be achieved. Doctors attend medical school not magic school. Best, Mats Hagstrom MD

Answer: Candidacy for fat transfer to buttocks? Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note you are relatively slim. Your BMI is 24.96 (in the normal range). You do have a full abdomen and flanks with lack of lateral buttock and hip fullness. It is best to be at a comfortable sustainable body weight at the time of surgery. Purposeful weight gain before surgery is not sustainable and some of the operative result may be lost. Significant improvement in contour can be achieved, but because of anatomical differences, you can approach but cannot achieve the wish pic result.Best wishes...
