I want to know if my chin is too far back for a sliding genioplasty, all of the before and after pictures of people I've seen who have had the procedure done don't seem to have chins as far back as mine. I've never had X-Rays, but when I was getting consultations from functional orthodontics two years ago all of them told me I have a Class I occlusion... Will a sliding genioplasy put my chin in a normal position or is it too far back?

This is a bit difficult without a complete skeletal analysis based on your ceph (x-ray) and physical exam. From what I can see on your x-ray your maxilla and mandible appear fine. I would not recommend maxillary and mandibular advancements in lieu of a genioplasty. Please seek...
