Hi . after 4 weeks of a FUE surgery , I noticed my naturel hair is loosing too specially in my crown . and the donor area is not looking good . is it going to be better later ? please help me with suggestions
Answer: Post op hair care 4 weeks after hair transplant it’s normal for the hair to appear thin. This will take time to resolve but does appear to be some shock loss and healing to the donor region

Answer: You may be seeing shock loss and/or donor depletion. It may take 6 to 12 months to see if the area may recover. You may be seeing shock loss and/or donor depletion. It may take 6 to 12 months to see if the area may recover.

Answer: Shock loss in donor hair This is most likely shock loss unless you underwent a mega-session of 3000+ grafts and the area was overharvested. PRP treatments can help to stimulate re-growth in these areas when it is shock loss.

Answer: Shock loss or donor site depletion The question I ask is: Is this shock loss or donor site depletion. How many grafts have you had? If the number of grafts were less than 3000, it is likely that it is shock loss but you will not know this for 8 months from the date of the surgery when the shock loss phenomenon should reverse. If this does not reverse, the only treatment for this that is effective is Scalp Micropigmentation which, although it is not hair, will make the donor area look normal.
