What affect does anti dandruff shampoo have on new hair after FUE?

i was told when i asked my surgeon that i shouldnt use anti dandruff shampoos for at least 6 weeks and was wondering what effect it has on the recipient area and why it shouldnt be used as i cant find any information online just everyone saying you cant use it but not saying what effect it has if you do.

Hello,
Dry scalp is fairly common after hair transplantation.  Lots of solutions here including use of conditioner, antibiotic ointment, vaseline.  A great first step is to contact your hair transplant surgeon and see what solution works best for you.

If you have dandruff, you can try using ant-dandruff shampoo.  It would not be an issue after surgery especially after 6 weeks.

You may start to use anti dundruff shampoo 2 weeks after the FUE operation and  can start to your normal life . You may wash your head  just like before operation how often and which shampoo you use.

There is no impact of a dandruff shampoo on hair transplants. Many people use them. Shampoos like Head and Shoulders works well
