Thank you for your question, you need a formal evaluation by an expert in body shaping and contouring to determine what is best. Traditional liposuction awake and smart liposuction are old methods that do very poorly for tightening skin or or contouring. Small problem areas can be improved slightly by these methods. The best in body contouring not only removes fat with energy devices like VASER ultrasound but also internally heats the skin with radiofrequency devices such as Renuvion (J-Plasma), InMode BodyTite, and ThermiRF to heat the undersurface of the skin and tighten it at the same time as fat removal. You could have more liposuction, but you have a rope thick scar that needs revising. I would recommend scar excision and advancement downward (at least centrally), to achieve scar removal, skin reduction, and direct fat excision. Liposuction may or may not also be entertained. Post surgical tape therapy (Hypafix tape) should be used for 2-3 months to prevent recurrent hypertrophic scarring.

If you've had both dermo-lipectomy (mons-plasty) and liposuction in that area and your escutcheon still projects to an undesirable degree, physical examination will determine whether your projection is from symphyseal and pubic ramis osseous anatomy or from residual skin and fat.  If the latter, yes, revision relatively straightforward and inexpensive (local anesthesia).

MarieI appreciate your concerns and it does appear from your photographs that you may benefit from revision of your mons pubis surgery with either liposuction alone or combined with skin reduction. You may also consider liposuction of your abdominal region as a minor add on. Hello and thank you for your question.  The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.  Based on your photographs, you may benefit from a revision mons reduction surgery with excision of tissue.  This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

Just based on your photos, you should be able to get improvement with liposuction of the mons area. This could be easily done in the office under local anesthesia. Check with physicians in your area for pricing because it does vary.
