I have fine lines or wrinkles on both of my arms, is this normal and can anything be done to remove them? (Photo)

Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery.

A combination approach would give the most improvement. Cellfina itself is the best treatment we have for cellulite but works best in combination with Sculptra and Renuva fat injections or bellafill both are long term; as well as body treatments like Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra, Cellutone/Zwave. A VASER HI DEF procedure can be done for more contouring and smoothing, if you're a candidate. Smooth novathreads maybe can help build collagen as well and improve the apperance. Cellulite can't be cured, but can be improved with treatments and maintenance. From your photo, the lines on you arm appear normal. Neither BodyTite nor Lipo would remove the lines.

The lines on your arms are quite normal from movement and can be treated with radiofrequency and micro-needling, Secret, to improve the texture and tighten the skin.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photo, there is a slight exaggeration of a transverse skin line noted running in the direction of the skin "grain". It is a normal phenomenon, which probably accentuates with flexion and lessens with extension of the elbow.Best wishes.... 

I agree with Dr Berman that you are being too critical but since you live in a southern city and appear to be fair, should always use sunblock when exposed to the sun. Mild retin-A can also help with fine lines but check with your boarded dermatologist for that and I would also advise against being very aggressive here.

The lines are normal due to basic movements and resting positions. Renuvion skin tightening could be used to tighten the skin; however, the results would be minimal as the problem is not too extensive.

Sunscreen could help as you live in a Southern State.  Looking at your photo, your arms appear normal.  Best to you.  

as far as i can tell, the first line is the normal crease at the front of your elbow that EVERYONE has. the other fine line is in your skin and will not change with liposuction. I think you are spending too much time, being overly critical of yourself.david berman md
