Breast augmentation is a 1-1½hour outpatient procedure with a 5-7 day recovery away from work and 3-4 weeks away from heavy activity or upper body exercise. The estimated cost of the breast augmentation with saline implants is $4200-4800. The new cohesive gel silicone implants are also available, and the cost is somewhat higher, around $5400-5800.
