I think based upon your current breast anatomy, you can expect to have nice results from transgender breast augmentation.  You appear to be a great candidate. When you meet with a plastic surgeon he/she should discuss the differences between genetic male and female chest anatomy with regards to the shape of the chest, location of the nipples, etc. Placing silicone implants under the muscle usually helps provide more natural results. Definitely meet with a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery who has experience with transgender breast augmentations and enjoys helping transgender patients during their reassignment journey. 

Thank you for sharing your pictures.  You look like you would be a good candidate.  I would recommend finding a plastic surgeon experienced with MTF transgender - less chance of getting the look you want to avoid.  I prefer silicone implants above the muscle if you have enough breast tissue.  In MTF patients, since the muscle is bigger and stronger than in a genetic female, you get more of a firm, tight breast when you go under the muscle.  As another post mentioned, you can do an expander first to stretch out the tissues, but it does add to the cost a fair amount.

You should be able to have nice results. You do have some natural breast tissue there. The larger you go the more "fake" it will look since there is not a lot of natural cover. It is always a matter of degree. Surgery is a bit different in the genetic male so be sure to see a surgeon experienced in BA in transgender patients.

You raise a very good question by asking how to avoid the "small, tight, glued-on" look. There are several characteristics of breasts which give them a more natural look. First, the width of the breast should bulge out beyond the side of the chest, therefore you should choose the widest implants that your chest can carry. Second, the breast skin should be slightly redundant, allowing the breast to sag. This will naturally occur over time but may take years if you choose large implants. One way to shorten the "dropping" period is to undergo a tissue expander surgery before the breast augmentation surgery. It will add substantial cost to the bottom line.
