Hi I'm from Asian. I just had a FUT surgery, and i only had about 2000 grafts transplanted. i was expecting much more than that. At first My doctor told me that i would be happy with the result. then after the surgery i only saw my front head had transplanted graft but not the top. so i was a bit upset. The doctor told me that because the strip'' donor area'' only has about 2000 grafts. please help ! thanks

Answer: The number grafts you can safely harvest may be different for everyone. It depends on your donor density
If you are referring to the actual recipient area grafts, many of these shed so that they may look bald. If you are talking about your native hair, then you might have developed shock loss (see below)

Sun exposure is not recommended after surgery but if it already happened there isn't much you can do. Sunburn can potentially discolor your scalp and scar.
