Dear Amandiney,Thank you for the question. Based on your photo, it looks like you would benefit from chin fillers. Both Juvederm and Voluma can be used for the chin, but I prefer to use Voluma in my practice as you get can get more shape and contour using Voluma. Plus, it lasts longer than Juvederm. When you are ready, please look at before and after photos on my website and we can set up a complimentary in-person consultation to address your concerns and answer all of your questions.Best regards,Nima Shemirani
"A formal evaluation would be needed to determine what's best. Many of my patients try to avoid surgery, so we perform a non-surgical chin augmentation treatment with injectable fillers. Fillers like Radiesse, Voluma, BellaFill as well as Sculptra are injected into the area, improving the overall appearance of the lower face and balancing the jaw and lip harmony. We use cannula injections to meticulously contour and project the chin, soften the chin along the jawline and improve the chin crease.Implants are still a great option once you are 100% positive that you are ready for a permanent enhancement. I suggest getting a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and facial sculpting expert; our practice is located right here in Los Angeles. Best, Dr. Emer"
Hi and thanks for your question. Non Surgical Chin Enhancement is something we do daily at my clinic. Both Juvederm and Voluma are good, safe and effective hyaluronic acid fillers, but Voluma is the one that I usually use to sculpt facial features like the chin, cheeks and nose. It is placed deep so the contours are smooth, it lifts and projects better than the softer Juvederm and it lasts about 3 times as long (1.5 to 2 years) in an area like the chin. Both fillers are easily reversible at any time with an enzyme called hyaluronidase. Hope that helps.
Both fillers are suitable for use in the chin. Which one would be best for you should be determined during an in-person consultation and evaluation. Make sure you find an experienced injector. Best wishes.
We tend to prefer Voluma when a large quantity of filler is needed or if we are going to do several areas and want to use a smaller "leftover "amount in the chin. The duration of the material is purportedly higher and we think that this is the case for Voluma.
Both Juvederm and Voluma are good choices for a non-surgical chin augmentation. I typically like to use Voluma for augmenting the chin, but the right choice for you is really going to depend on an in person exam. Hope this helps.
Thank you for your question. Both Juvederm and Voluma can be used safely for chin augmentation, however I personally prefer to use Voluma. I find that Voluma is a little more effective for lifting and contouring the chin, and is a longer-lasting product overall. Juvederm also works well in this area, but often requires higher volumes of product. I would recommend seeing an experienced cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss the best treatment plan for you. Best of luck!
Thank you for your photo. I have used both Juvederm Ultra Plus and Voluma in the chin before and I prefer to use Voluma. It is longer-lasting and gives more structure/firmness to the chin. Juvederm Ultra Plus works as well but does not last as long and gives slightly less projection for the same amount injected. It's benefit is that is more affordable. Sometimes I use Voluma for the initial chin augmentation and use Juvederm Ultra Plus for touch-ups/maintenance and the two work very well in combination. Hope this helps!!Johnson C. Thank you for your question amandiney. I understand your concern. Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid filler designed to enhance theappearance of the face. Both Juvederm Ultra Plus and Voluma can be placed in the chin. Choosing a product depends on a persons specific concerns and the injectors preference. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
Thanks for your question Amandiney Both products are fairly good for the chin. I find Voluma typically lasts longer and might provide more volume and shape when compared to Ultra Plus XCBest of luck
