Your sulcus mentalis, or chin fold, should improve with filler placed there by an experienced injector. There are numerous products that do well here, what is best for you will depend on your individual anatomy. To ensure you are receiving the highest level of care, seek out a modernly trained, new-school dermatologic surgeon, oculoplastic surgeon, facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgeon who is board certified and fellowship trained in one of these "core four" cosmetic specialties. Membership in organizations like the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery help to identify a highly trained surgeon.

Thank you for your photo. Due to its smoothness, some people prefer the results of Juvederm wherever the skin is very thin. Although Juvederm can last for up to a year, the length of results depends on the area being treated, with lips lasting the shortest. Hyaluronic acid fillers give smooth, natural-looking results. Please make sure you seek treatment from a board-certified dermatologist.

You look like you would be a good patient to have filler placement to soften the horizontal chin crease.  You would need an in person evaluation to discuss options for type of filler and possibly botox may be needed as well in chin.

Thank you for your question and for submitting your photo.  It's impossible to make exact recommendations without assessing you in-person, but based on your photos I think you would respond well to a hyaluronic acid filler like Juvederm in the deeper crease in your chin.  Sometimes, I do find that lines like these respond better to a firmer product like Restylane, so it would be worthwhile to discuss this with your physician before treatment.  I also think that you would benefit from a laser skin resurfacing procedure to help help build collagen and improve the overall texture of your skin.I would recommend scheduling a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon to discuss your concerns and determine the best treatment plan for you.  Best of luck!

Thank you for your question deedrar. Juvederm is a hyaluronic acid filler designed to enhance the appearance
of the face. It can also be placed below the lips on the chin to address wrinkles in that area. If I had a patient who looked like the person in this photograph I would say she is a good candidate for Juvederm in this area. Please consult with a doctor for specific recommendations. Good luck!
