I wanted to know if I can make my face more feminine. I have huge masseters especially the one on my right. The muscle trails back by my ear making my head look way bigger. It goes over my jawline (mainly my right side). Should I get botox or naw reduction? Would botox help a lot for now until I get a jaw reduction? I feel like my hairline is too recieded as well.
Answer: Slimming the jawline Thank you for the photos; there are many treatment options to provide a more feminine appearance. Placing filler in the cheeks and zygomatic arches will help diminish the appearance of prominent masseter muscles. Similarly, filler can be added to your nose to change the projection and shape and provide a more feminine nose. There are permanent options as well. Good luck

Answer: Facial feminization? Your Masseter muscles can be slightly reduced using Botox. However, if you want to have facial feminization a rhinoplasty with a more feminine nose would do far more than any treatment of your muscle. Your nasal hump can be removed and the tip refined etc. to give a more attractive and feminine face.

Answer: Masseter botox will help make the face look more heart shaped. You may like that effect. In my opinion though, the biggest impact on your appearance would come from fixing your upper eyelid ptosis.

Answer: Botox Thank you for your post. Based on your photos and concerns, I believe you would be a good candidate for a Botox treatment in the Masseter muscle. Over time you will notice significant improvement and in turn experience the slimming of your lower face. Each patient's needs vary but I typically begin with 15-20 units per side and see how they do. It's best to have a thorough in person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon in your area to discuss all of your treatment options. Best of luck! Answer: Botox for jaw reduction It is best to have an in-office examination to evaluate your jawline. Slimming and feminizing your jawline depends on the underlying bone and the muscle, skin, and fat on top. If your jaw has poor definition, using filler to augment the appearance of the bone can increase definition. If you have good structure but bulky muscles, these muscles can be thinned with Botox injections, particularly in the back of the jaw. Loose skin can be treated with energy devices such as Ultherapy. Fat can be treated with liposuction or Kybella. Kybella in the jawline area is considered off-label. Kybella in general takes at least 2 or more treatments to see full effect and can initially make the area appear more puffy from swelling and inflammation. Hope this helps!!! Johnson C.
