Why am I getting a burning hot sensation around my hips and waist line 9 days after a tummy tuck and lipo sculpture?

Hi! My Name is Gisel I'm 24 yrs old How ever every time I feel like something is wrong with me I always look it up on google, and this website pops up with answers from you Doctor. Now, I recently got a Tummy tuck and Lipo sculpture. I've been noticing I get a really rapid hot burning sensation around my hip/waist line. It hurts so much that I cry. Could it be bcus of the muscles that were sculptured or something. Or is part of the healing process? It's been 9 days since I had the surgery.

Even though a hematoma can theoretically return, it's highly unlikely unless there is repeat trauma to the area or if there is a bleeding blood vessel that requires surgery to fix.

Please contact your surgeon as soon as possible. They will examine the infection and prescribe the proper medication.

You for your picture. This is not an emergency so I will not go to the ER. Definitely you should see your plastic surgeon as soon as you possibly can. A drain may need to be placed in addition to your previous treatment.

In my opinion is rarely wise to combine GYN procedures with aesthetic surgery. There is really not any upside to this  It's best to break up the procedures. Have your GYN procedure first. You can follow this by having your aesthetic procedures several months later.

As long as the the drain is still functioning, a clot in JP drain tube or bulb is safe to ignore. JP drains are most commonly used after a Tummy Tuck, but even for other procedures, as long as fluid id getting past the clot, the drain is working. If there is any doubt, just call you plastic...
