The injected sites under the eyes feel like firms pads when I slightly feel the area (same firmness as a mosquito bite, minus the itching). Just curious if it will soften with time or will it always remain firm under the skin? I am Asian and my cosmetic surgeon said she preferred using the needle/syringe technique versus the blunt cannula because Asians generally have thick skin and she can get deeper? Does this sound right? Any answers are appreciated!

Thank you for your question. Stylage is hyaluronic acid filler similar to Restylane. However, fillers should be lasting longer a month. You may need more filler to achieve your desired result. Remember there is swelling up to 2 weeks after injection. I recommend getting a second opinion. Best of...
