Many thanks for posting your questionNormally, 9-weeks will have been more than enough time for you to recuperate and then resume physical exercise. However, please consult with you plastic surgeon for specific advice relating to youGood luck
Eight weeks should be ok to resume most activities- but start very light and go gradually with the approval of your plastic surgeon.
After 8 weeks it is likely you will be able to do physical activities. You may need to work up to full physical activity over a couple of weeks.
Dear Shay, Front and side view pictures would have been helpful. Your question should be answered by your surgeon who knows what was done and where do you stand now with your healing. In my practice, patients who had tummy tuck surgery are permitted to return to the gym after 6 weeks, but may return gradually to their previous routine activity over 2 weeks period. So, in your case, if you were my patient, you would have been ok to return to pole dancing, which is quite strenuous, after 8 weeks from surgery. Best of luck, Dr Widder
Thank you for the question. Every Board Certified Plastic Surgeon has a different post operative protocol. At my practice you have no restriction after six weeks. Of course you need to ease back into it since you have been out of practice for six weeks. Contact your surgeon to further discuss this concern.
Well you don't hear that every day. Yes nine weeks out you should be able to pole dance. I would just listen to your body and if it allows you to do that then it should be fine. I would check with your surgeon to make sure there are no special limitations that they will have for you.
Usually by nine weeks my patients can go back to just about everything. I would discuss this with your surgeon first. Good luck.
I would check with your surgeon about restrictions and limitations. I typically allow patients to resume activity in 4-6 weeks depending on their healing. Best wishes.

The remaining stretch marks after your abdominoplasty can create significant contour issues as evidenced in the photograph. Nothing to do for now except let the healing process continue.

Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. I see your area of concern and it appears that you either have had a superficial separation of your incision due to tension or limited blood flow or some blister formation due to the steristrips and swelling that can accompany the procedure. A...
