What procedures do you recommend for making my side profile look better? I don't know which part of my face makes me look like some kind of monkey, in my opinion my side just looks horrible as a whole, but I don't want to change my whole face.

Answer: Facial evaluation Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you appear to have a recessive chin. A chin implant and submental liposuction can be performed at the same time for improved jaw line contour. I always use a medpor implant with screw fixation, which stays in place over time. A silicone chin implant has a high rate of malrotation over time. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and not just a computer animation system. You should be able to view numerous pictures of actual patients with noses similar to yours performed by your surgeon.
