No change to my nose since I had rhinoplasty if anything, it is bigger. I am very concerned. (photos)

Had Rhino 2 weeks ago to reduce size of my nose to narrow the bridge and define the tip. I had my nose broken and open rhinoplasty.My nostrils were not touch. I cannot see ANY difference to my nose. Is it possible that my nose well reduce significantly in time to a defined narrow bridge and and tip? Surgeon wont C me until 3 months time when the swelling subsides. I suspect there is swelling but surly my nose will not drop to a thin nose from its current size 2 weeks after or is this possible?

2 weeks is nothing when it comes to rhinoplasty. It takes one year and some more to get final outcome. I think that you will be alright. Relax.

Hi, thank you for your question. You are still very early in your recovery period. It is common to have pressure and swelling for awhile after surgery.   I would recommend following up with your surgeon with any questions.  Best of luck to you.

Thank you for your question. I certainly understand your concern. I would suggest you wait until you finish breastfeeding. There are medications that you will be require to take and we certainly don't want anything to interfere with the well being of your baby.  Best, Gary Linkov, MD
