Will my 2 week Dysport top up correct my hooded eyes? (photos)

Hi,Thank you for your question and sharing your photos.It looks like the central portion was overtreated resulting in a hooded medial lid crease (as noticed in your after photos). A very small amount of dysport at the peak of the brow to reduce the "spock brow" and shouldn't cause much more heaviness. I would advise also treating the orbicularis muscle to help achieve more of a brow lift.Hope this helps!

Yes, a well-placed touch-up will provide lift to your hooded eyes. Dysport results resolve in 3-4 months. Hope this helps.

I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your injector. The location and amount of injected product can improve or worsen your results. That is why it is always important to see an experienced injector who can discuss your concerns with you and suggest options.

so before you get any touch ups I would wait until then, as you may only make matters worse. 

so forehead botox paralyses the frontalis muscle which in turn prevents your eyebrows form raising. In most people over 40 this leads to problems with heavy lids, especially in the first week or two. It does improve with time or people get used to it. Either way a top up unless placed under the brow is only likely to make it worse. Hope that helps, Adam Goodwin

It does appear that you need a touch up to the lateral forehead, but I would avoid having more injected in the middle forehead, as this could make your lids appear even heavier. The good new is that the heaviness will wear off as the botox does, and you can go slightly lighter in units at your next appointment. 

Dysport can be placed in the obicullaris occuli and/or corrugators to help give a "brow lift" if eyes feel heavy after treatment of the frontalis (forehead). This can be best determined when you are seen for your touch up. Good luck!
