What can I do about involuntary muscle spasms after Dysport? (Photo)

Question

My rather thick glabella was injected with 75 units of Dysport 2 weeks ago. Already I‘m having muscle spasming in both the muscles injected AND adjacent muscles. It happens when I frown too hard (they get locked into place) or when I touch anywhere around my eyebrows. The muscles swell up for minutes at a time, it’s so ugly. What should I do? Am I just a bad candidate for Botox/Dysport and should I let it wear off? Was it a bad injection technique? Photo is of muscles during a spasm.

I recommend following up with your injector. This could be due to placement. If you're unhappy with your Dysport results, venus legacy and thermage treatments can give improvement. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
