Buccal Fat Removal - would I be a good candidate? (Photo)

Question

I'm looking to achieve a slimmer lower face (V-shape). Asked about masseter Botox but was suggested to seek buccal fat removal first. Would I be a good candidate for buccal fat removal? I'm turning 40 next year and I'm afraid of looking too gaunt/hollow. Are there any other less invasive options to slim the lower cheeks? Scared I might miss my buccal fat in the future if I get them removed!

Hello, hope you are well. Based on the photos you've provided, buccal fat removal would be a good option for you. Without examining your face in-person, or seeing a few different angles, it's hard to make any further recommendations.

The area that you circled is the mandibular angle and this will not change with buccal fat removal. Slimming the angles or botox injections would improve this area. I don't think that the changes that you perceive will change with the removal of the fat pads.
