Buccal fat removal or jowl lipo? (Photo)

Hello, I am a 20 yr old female who is 5’1, 101 lbs. I have previously gotten chin lipo done, but still do not like the fullness of my cheeks. Am i a better candidate for Buccal fat removal or jowl lipo?

Its is really common for people to get buccal fat removal with jawline lipo. They are done at the same time and all the incisions are in the mouth, so there is no external scarring. You could benefit from having both. Buccal fat removal will reduce some of the fullness in your cheeks and take some weight off the jowls. The jawline lipo will add more contour to your lower face. Buccal fat however is a fairly subtle procedure, and will not remove all the fat in your cheeks. Our office provides virtual or in-person consultations if you would like to discuss things further!

Based on your photos, you look like a great candidate for BFP removal, though this should always be verified with in-person examination.  I do not recommend jowl liposuction in general, but especially not in young patients because the jowl fat typically hasn't grown much when you are that young, and because it can create contour irregularities.
