Is this buccal fat or jowl fat? (Photos)

Buccal fat and jowls (fat) are two different areas of the face.Buccal fat pads are located on anterior portion of the lower cheeks, above the jaw line. Jowls are pockets of fat not he face that hang at the level of the jaw line. It is hard to say from the picture what type of fat it is, as you need an in-office consultation for a better diagnostic. But it looks more like jowl fat than buccal fat, but as I've mentioned, you would need a face to face consultation to tell you for sure. It could be only droopy facial tissue.
