Bubble in lip from filler 1 year later. I want to redo my fillers. How can I avoid it in future? (Photo)

I had Restylane lip filler over a year ago injected into my lips. I have always noticed a small lump inside my lip after but they told me it would go away or eventually dissolve.Now over a year later most of my filler has dissovled and I am still left with this small lump/bubble inside my lip. I want to redo my fillers but I am afraid to ask what the bump is caused from and how to fix it, and avoid for the future. Please advise

Hi, this bumps usually about fillers content type. You can choose fillers that designed only for lips.

If the bump is Restylane, then it  probably can  be resolved by the doctor injecting hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidase can dissolve hyaluronic acid.  It is a pretty simple procedure, and  the results can be seen very quickly, usually within a few hours.  Once it has been dissolved, then you can consider starting with filler again after a few more days.

It is hard to determine what the bubble is from a picture, but it likely an accumulation of filler. If this is the case, Hyaluronidase can be injected into the bubble to help dissolve the filler. I recommend getting evaluated by your local injector to determine if this is an appropriate route for you.

An examination is needed to know more, but the bubble that you are referencing could be filler.  If so, hyaluronidase can be injected into the area to dissolve it.  I encourage you to visit with an expert injector for evaluation and treatment.
