Want small implants, 175cm tall BWD 12, short nipple-crease distance. An accident left me with back pain, arthrose and disc issues (middle, lower back, neck). Could undergoing BA worsen my situation? I imagine the implants lower the breasts' position/centre of gravity on my chest. In second pregnancy with bigger everything, belly pulled my back forward I couldn't wait for it to end, but I never had large boobs & carrying rice bags is misleading as they're on, not in the body!
Answer: Back issues Large implants could lead to an exacerbation of your back pain. Smaller implants placed beneath the muscle would be a better choice. There's no way to guarantee that an augmentation won't make your back pain worse however.

Answer: Implant size Hello, Thank you for the question. Placing very large/heavy implants can potentially affect your back pain. Implant size discussion and implant selection is one of the most important steps during your consultation with plastic surgeon. The decision-making process depends on patient’s desires, as well as breast and soft tissue dimensions. I would encourage you to seek a consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations. I hope this helps. Best regards, Dr. Karanetz Dr. Irena Karanetz Breast Fellowship-Trained Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: BA candidate Dear Tasteful479841, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Generally speaking, larger implants can be heavy and can cause back pain. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations.
