Hello, I had implants done 300cc in 2014. I’m scheduled to have them replaced August of 2024 and I’m thinking I might just have them removed all together. I know I’ll most likely need a lift and I’d like to replace volume to at least the size they are now. I’m a c cup for size reference and I think I might have enough fat to fill them out. Realistically how much fat can be transferred at once safely, and can it be done in the same surgery?

Answer: Fat transfer I encourage you to look into the pros and cons of fat transfer before making your decision. When the fat is harvested it must be spun down to a more concentrated form before it can be grafted to the new location. After that a portion of the fat will "take", so you may have some asymmetry and require future touch ups. Another important consideration is that microcalcifications can form from the grafted fat which can interfere with future mammograms/imaging of the breasts.

Answer: Surgery An examination is needed to see if the fat can/should be placed at the same time as the lift. In most women, the fat should be transferred at a later time. Typically, you can gain up to a cup of tissue per transfer. The 300 cc implants are roughly 2 cups of breast volume.
