Im having my implants removed 4 weeks after augmentation as I feel like it was a mistake and I want my breasts back. Im 33 years oldnever had kids and the quality of my skin was good pre-op. I was 34 A before and I got Mentor 350cc moderate plus xtra textured implants under a muscle. My question is, is there going to be any capsule formed around the implant already which should be removed together with an implant or its ok just to remove the implants itself. Will my skin bounce back too? Thx!
I was a saggy stretched out 36 B on left and C on right breast. Had lift with implants 1.5 years ago. Implant displacement occurred and after one revision and reoccurrence of displacement I just want them gone. They are 400 cc saline unders. Currently I am a 36 Moderate C/full D with my implants. My surgeon already preformed the lift and since I havent had them long Im wondering if I can get away with no lift at time of explant. Sorry my before pics arent great!Thank you for your time!!
Hello, 35 year old mom of three and nursed all three for about a year each. My breasts were a petit 32A 18 years ago when I had my procedure. I have 425cc under the muscle. Im really hoping to avoid a lift. After three kids and all that nursing I have zero stretch marks (that I can tell) and my skin bounced back well. My nipples are high (Ive always felt too high) but now that gives me hope! Please excuse any grammatical errors as this site makes it impossible to compose well.
I've had Mentor saline, smooth implants under muscle (325cc), for 16 yrs. and am ready to explant no replacement. I've had 3 consults and all say a capsulectomy is not necessary since I do not have any breast implant illnesses. I have researched and some Dr.'s feel the capsule must be removed to prevent misreadings on mammograms, lumps from the capsule, a rare form of cancer caused by leaving the capsule in, and poisoning of the body from toxins leached from the implant shellAdvice appreciated.
1 year ago I got cohesive under the muscle implants and would like them removed due to CC. I am athletic and have no children. Will the skin bounce back? And will the muscle reform to the body properly? I was an A before and went to a C.
Hi, Im 26 years old - no children. Ive had 325cc high profile textured implants under muscle placed 4 years ago, I feel like they dont suit my frame and feel a little too big for me. For past 2 years I feel i my posture has been so bad because they feel uncomfortable sleeping or when exercising. Some surgeons advise leaving capsule in, others say I might need muscle repair. How will my breast look after? Im terrified
I got saline breast implants 12 years ago and do not remember much about the specifics as far as cc' s and placement. I believe they are under the muscle & I went from b cup to a d cup. I have had 3 kids & they have now bottomed out. I want them removed & to possibly get a breast lift. Will not having the implant details make this process more difficult for the doctor? I have tried to get my info from my original surgeon with no luck. Thanks for your help!
I recently had a mammogram at 34 yrs old because my doctor felt a suspicious lump which turned out to be the valve to my saline implant. My implants are 12 years old, I've breastfed 3 children & they are now bottomed out. I do not want to replace them I'm an anxious person by nature I'm sick of worrying about problems with them down the road. Can you tell from my mammogram pics just how small I'll be & if they're under the muscle? The technician commented about how I had 0 breast tissue.
There seems to be a lot of mixed reviews regarding this topic. My saline, 550 cc, under the muscle implants haven't given me any issues. I was diagnosed with hypothyroid disease after implants and have had very bad memory loss, brain fog, hives, & fatigue etc BUT who is to say it's from the implants? Once I changed my diet to Vegan, and removed gluten I felt a lot better. I have interviewed many board certified PS and to do an en bloc and full capsule removal is expensive! Is it truly needed??
