I had a corset platysmaplasty done over a year ago and these are my results. Do I have an other options? Thank you in advance.
Answer: Platysma bands after platysmaplasty In a thin neck like yours every muscle activity iis visible. Complete transaction of platysma muscle may be considered. However, this can not be achieved from anterior approach only and posterior approach with the scar behind the ear may be needed. Hope this helps.

Answer: Platysma Bands Hello, hope you are well. Thank you for submitting your photo and question. Your photo shows prominent platysma banding. Neuromodulators (Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, etc) may be beneficial in the short term, but this strategy requires re-injection every few months. Alternatively, revision surgery can be performed. Best,Dr. Tower

Answer: Correction of an anterior platysmaplasty. Hello Wendy,Thank you for your question and photo. From the photo, it appears that you have platysmal muscle banding below the anterior platysmaplasty. This may improve somewhat temporarily with a Botox treatment. For more long-term improvement you may require revision of the anterior platysmaplasty with division of the platysmal bands. Depending on the amount of skin laxity you may consider sub dermal tightening with Renuvion powered by J-Plasma or a neck lift procedure. I would recommend an in-person consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon.Best regards Andrew Lyos

Answer: Deep neck lift Thank you for sharing your photograph and concerns regarding your neck lift results. While it can be challenging to make a definitive assessment based solely on photographs, it does appear that there might be a recurrence and separation of the platysmal bands. Furthermore, I also observe potential hypertrophy of the deeper structures, including muscle and glands, that might not have been fully addressed in the initial procedure. Please know that these observations are not uncommon and can be corrected. A revision deep neck lift can effectively address these issues, aiming to provide a more refined and aesthetically pleasing neck contour.
