I had a tummy tuck on March 21, 2019. I'm 6 weeks post op. All is healing well with the exception of a slight seperation and opening of the incision. My surgeon office claims that this is normal and that i shouldn't worry. I've emailed pictures and i was seen and i was prescribed silver sulfadiazine and I'm to apply it 2x a day. Im keeping it clean and covered. The cream isn't working if anything its turning the surrounding skin black. What do i do?

I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon. You are still in the recovery stage and can expect changes in the future, but your surgeon should be aware of any healing questions you have. Your belly button can be revised if you are still unhappy around 9-12 months after surgery.
