Can I get a second round of lipo on my face?

I would be extremely careful with this and get a number of opinions before proceeding. Fat removal in the face is very tricky and can cause facial nerve damage. If overdone, it might not be easy to correct. You can find board certified plastic surgeons at plasticsurgery.org.

Hello! Excellent question! there is a delicate balance in the process of removing facial fat. There is a product (Kybella) that is injected into the area of concern, to dissolve small amounts of fat. Your surgeon also has to be careful with certain nerves in the area you are referring to. Take your time in doing research with your physician and make sure you get valuable insight and understand your options. Good luck!

hello I think it is best to see your first surgeon for the revision since she is most familiar with what was done / scarring vs fat remaining etc.  revisions are always possible to make the results better 

In my experience buccal fat pads should not be removed, and lipo of the buccal fat pads is not a very good area even if you decided to remove the buccal fat.  Be sure to discuss your goals and concerns with your board certified plastic surgeon and consider the pros and the cons. I do not do liposuction in the cheek area, the jawline or jowl area and around the mouth.  There are very important nerves which controlled the mouth that run through these areas.  Damage to the nerve can result in paralysis of the mouth and a crooked smile. Especially if you have had previous liposuction in this area there will be scarring that could increase the risk of nerve injury.
