I recommend following up with your Doctor about after care following your procedure. I recommend adding lymphatic massage and hyperbaric oxygen along with your compression to help decrease swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. I do not routinely recommend massage to my patients after liposuction. You are best to ask your surgeon if he suggested that.

Best to only follow your clinica surgeon's recommendations if you can get in citact with him?? In my private practice I recommend waiting at least 1 month fir cavitation. But aggressive lymphatic massages are as you can tolerate them. Some do these massages the night of surgery, others the next day, and most wait around 3 days to a week. Use only a massage therapist whom is familiar with postop lymphatic massages..
