The technique I recommend is a lip lift. A lip lift does 4 things: shortens the distance between your nose and upper lip, increases the mucosa of the upper lip, increases the incisor show and pulls up the corners. The procedure takes less than 1 hour to perform under local anesthesia and costs $3,000.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.
A downturned smile or permanent frown can be improved with a combination approach, including neuromodulators (such as Botox, Dysport, and Jeuveau), injectable fillers, and radiofrequency skin tightening treatments such as Thermage or Venus Legacy. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist to develop a treatment plan that works for you. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi there, based on photos you sent, without seeing the whole face, a corner lip lift seems to be the most reasonable option to improve your lip shape. Currently lip corners are downturned and corner lip lift effectively addresses this. Bullhorn lip lift focuses on central part of the lips. Best regards, Piotr Osuch, MD, PhD
You would require an extended corner of mouth lift with lateral vermilion advancements to properly address the downturned mouth corners and thin/disappearing thin sides of the upper lip.
Dear LuminousThank you for your question. We say that the ideal philtrum length is between 18mm~20mm and you can measure the distance from the base of the nose to the middle of the cupids bow on the upper lip. If its longer then the ideal distance by 3-5 mm then a surgical lip lift will improve...
I do not see what an upturned nose would have to do with prohibiting a lip lift. Lip lifts are commonly done in people with tilted noses. The scars, if the procedure is performed correctly, is very, very difficult to see once healed.
A lip lift, chin augmentation and rhinoplasty can all be done simultaneously or separately. I can do a lip lift under local anesthesia and charge $3,000. A chin augmentation and rhinoplasty have to be done under general anesthesia. The chin augmentation is $3,000 and rhinoplasty is $7,000. ...
You seem to be a good candidate for a bullhorn lip lift to lift central part of the lips and shorten philtrum to get more teeth show. But with such lip shape, I'd rather combine bullhorn and corner lip lift for the optimal result. There's some risk that if you lift central part only, the corners...
From the attached picture you don't seem to be a good candidate for this surgery as your philtrum is too short. After LL your nose will appear more prominent & massive than it actually is. With such face features, I don't recommend surgical lip lift. Pls consider other methods such as lip...
There are surgical and non-surgical approaches to lip augmentation. Non-surgical approaches include botox (slight lift, reducing gum show) and filler (volume restoration). Surgically, you can have two separate incisions under the nose (italian), one incision under the nose (bull horn), one...
