I have an 8 year old scar on my chin from an accident. The scar is 1 1/2 in long and fully healed, but the area is raised & uneven. It's visible with a beard and it really stands out when clean shaven. I also lost hair follicles in the area around the scar. I want to hide the scar and make it as invisible as possible & regain hair growth in the scarred area. Would I be able to regain hair growth over the scar with a W-plasty/GBLC? Is there a scar too small for a GBLC? How would you treat?

A difficult scar to eliminate. I would start with our Hidef Scar Revision that includes subcision, fillers, PRP SC, and fractional laser first. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianLos Angeles
