Answer: Full cheeks and face shape In younger patients, it is not usual to have full cheeks, as buccal fat tends to be full until the 20s. Afterwards, faces often slim down. Buccal fat removal can be done at any age, but it may decrease in the next few years. In the interum, consider using voluma or other temporary fillers to build up the cheek bone. That can often de-emphasize the buccal fat and give the shape you are seeking.

Answer: Cheekbones Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. With that being said, based on your photographs, you may benefit from fillers or malar implants. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Defined Cheekbones Thank you for your photos. You could use fillers like Voluma or Sculptra to help define your cheekbones. Voluma can replenish the natural moisture on your skin and does not require multiple treatments to see results. Sculptra stimulates your body to produce new collagen with results lasting up to 2 years. For more information please get an in-person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist.

Answer: Well Defined Cheekbones You have flatter cheekbones with a fuller face below them. The combination of specially designed cheek implants that extend back along the zygomatic arch and buccal lipectomies give you the best chance for that type of facial effect.
