Hyaluronic Dermal fillers are a good starting point as they are temporary and give you the results of a cheek enhancement with out the commitment of an implant. There are also longer lasting fillers such as Voluma, sculptura, radiesse and Bellafill that can be used to create more defined cheekbones. Fat transfer is also an excellent way to enhance the cheekbones and is permanent. I perform cheek implants in cases where there is an extreme flatness to the cheeks. I verify placement with a camera to maximally it ensure symmetry. I suggest an in person consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in facial aesthetics to review all your options for optimal results.
Volume and contouring of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. Botox and radiofrequency can help slim and contour the jawline. Liposuction can help slim the face. Ultherapy, J Plasma and RF treatments can provide skin tightening and lift. I would recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Fillers, fat grafting and implants can all provide visual improvement and increase in volume, definition and projection of the cheekbones. Every patient has a different anatomy with different needs and desires. So it is best to consult a board certified facial plastic surgeon in person and discuss your options after a physical examination.Hope this helps,Ali Rıza Öreroğlu, MD FEBOPRASEuropean and Turkish Board Certified Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive SurgeonIstanbul, Turkey
To achieve better definition of cheek bones, shaping with fillers, fat grafts or cheek implants may be considered. Face contouring with very conservative liposuction may be additional option. In-person evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon with good reputation in facial implants should be your next step to discuss your goals and options. Good luck.
Dear Ueilyk, dermal fillers are a great non-surgical option for cheek augmentation. You should know that they will not last forever and you will have to use them again. Another option are cheek implants. I would suggest you to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Cheek implants are placed for patients who have a flat maxilla and a flat cheek profile. Cheek implants are designed to augment the existing cheeks that are present. Cheek implants are manufactured in a large variety of sizes and shapes, and are usually placed through a small incision above the gum line through intra-oral approach under brief general anesthesia. The implants themselves can be custom carved when necessary to match patient's unique anatomy. For diagrams of the cheek implants themselves, and many before-and-after cheek implant examples, please see the link and the video below
Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures using dermal fillers, silastic facial implants (cheek, chin, lips), liposuction and/or facelifts for over 30 years. Non smiling photos of your face from the front and side would help in the evaluation. Following my facial beauty principles, women look the most feminine, youthful and attractive with heart shaped faces. Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full and round in the front. Cheek augmentation with a dermal filler or using cheek implants for a permanent enhancement will create full, round cheeks that will feminize the entire face. Conversely, men look chiseled and handsome with angularity in the cheeks, chin and mandibular angles.Hope this helps.
There are 3 different techniques to augment the cheeks. Long acting fillers such as Voluma or Restylane Lyft, injections of your own fat taken from another part of your body, or the placement of permanent implants will augment and improve cheek contour.
