Can these scars be revise? (photos)

Question

I had a breast reduction done in 2014. My scars turned into keloid. I have been getting kenalog injections along with laser scar therapy. My keloids flattened out, however the scars widened. Also the last 30 days, my veins started to show. I'm so upset because these scars make me emotional. I do not feel sexy at all. If I get them redone, will it help to eliminate the widened scars?

Thank you for your pictures. Unfortunately, I would not recommend a scar revision. This will only lead back to more keloid formation. This may be the best that can be achieved with your scars due to your keloid history. Best wishes.

For the most part, scars can be improved with surgical revision. It's hard to tell without knowing more about you and your skin type. The Kenalog can thin skin out and cause the little blood vessels to show, but it's also effective for thick scarring and yours was probably bad enough to do those injections even with those potential downsides.

Thanks for your question.Unfortunately, I feel that revision surgery will only lead to keloid scars again.  The laser should be able to reduce some of the vein appearance.Best of luck

I agree. The scars are too large and revision will only result in even larger ones with the same tendency to keloid.
