Can posterior blepharitis swelling go down completely?

I have posterior blepharitis because I was using olive oil on my eyelid & it clogged my glands & my wyelid is really swollen because of it. Can swelling go down completely? it has been healing btw

Thank you for the question. There are multiple treatments for blepharitis, such as eyelid scrubs, hot compresses and antibiotics. Please see an eyelid specialist who can evaluate your problem and provide you with a treatment plan. Good luck.

The short answer is yes but without examining your eyelids, it is hard to tell exactly. Posterior blepharitis can be quieted but may not go away completely.
