After 8 weeks post-op, I have a pronounced "pouch" under my left eye..omore unattractive than pre-op? Right eye looks better but also has pouchiness/loosenss. 10 days after surgery, stopped wearing sunglasses 10 days post-op and make-up soon after & only 1 incision scar left to fade. Pouchiness about same aswhen I saw my surgeon, 2 weeks post-op...he was confident that by now all would be faded...how can he tell if this is going to improve? How can I tell if this is swelling or permanent?

Your problem appears to be due to your eyebrow sagging, brow ptosis rather than your eyelid skin. A trial of botox that give you an idea what a brow lift will do may be helpful to determine if you would be happy with a surgical brow lift.
You are very early out and things will change. What and how much and whether you will be happy is to be detrmined with time. Just be patient as you appear to have a great result and are heading in the right direction.
Thank you for the question. There are many treatments for blepharitis. You should recover fully over time. Make an appointment with an oculoplastic surgeon for evaluation and to hear treatment options. In the meantime, wash your eyelids and apply warm compresses. Good luck.
