Thank you for your question. I tell my patients to not sit on their buttocks for two weeks after their BBL. Please speak directly with your plastic surgeon. All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL
Sitting on your butt after a BBL will injure the fat and decrease fat survival. You should speak to your surgeon about how long you need to stay after surgery without flying. Also, you need to be prepared to fly back to your surgeon if there are any issues during recovery since you will probably not find a surgeon in New York who will be willing to take care of you in the rare event of a complication.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.I recommend my patients to wait at least 10 days before flying back to home, and you should not sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. If you have any concerns, I suggest you follow up close with your plastic surgeon.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
I do not routinely allow my patients to sit on the buttocks during the initial few weeks after surgery, because it may impact survival of the fat.

Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. Based on your pictures, you are a great candidate for liposuction with BBL, and I think you'll get very good results. To determine the right amount of CC's to transfer in a BBL, an in-person consultation is in order, because...
Thank you for your question. Every surgeon has different instructions, so please ask your surgeon. Typically, I tell my patients to stop any teas, herbal remedies, or herbal vitamins one week before surgery.
Thank you so much for your question and it sounds uncomfortable. I would recommend calling your provider’s office and ask to speak with the nurse or person in charge of your medical wellbeing. If medical attention is needed please do as you are asked by your provider.
My dear if you must drink something then go with wine or beer. ideally red wine because it is better for you.Hard alcohol inactivates the platelets which are responsible for forming proper clot. This means that drinking a lot before surgery could make you bleed more. And you my dear drink a lot...
