I'm a 25 year oldCanadian female. Looking for a bit of a volume increase in cheek area. Would voluma or juvederm be best? And if so, would one syringe be enough to see any difference? I am A college student so if one syringe is efficient, I would be glad. Here are some photos.
Answer: Voluma for cheek volumization in a younger patient Voluma has been my go-to filler for mid -facial and cheek volumization in virtually all my patients. We use a supra-periosteal injection technique and are seeing long-term volumization in our patients. I would start with one syringe split 50/50 along each cheek and mid-facial zone.

Answer: Cheek Volume And Neck / Jawline There are many options for volume and this can get improved with fillers and/or fat. Cheek volume often takes more than one syringe of any product. But this is determined in a formal consultation. A significant change in your facial shape would be if you did neck liposuction as this would contour and define your jawline. Kybella is also an alternative. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Is one syringe enough for a college girl's cheeks? I do think that one syringe of filler is enough for you. I think that Defyne is an excellent choice for you. Juvéderm is not the right choice for the cheeks because it doesn't have much lift ability - G'. Other options are Lyft, Restylane, Voluma. I always use cannulas for this correction and it should give minimal bruising this way.

Answer: How much filler for cheek volume At your age and face type, I would suggest starting with 1 syringe of filler (so 1/2 syringe per cheek bone) which is likely enough. Let it settle in for 2 weeks, and at that point you can decide whether you want more. Your dermatologist will choose which filler is best for you based on a few criteria.

Answer: Midface volume Based on the pictures you've posted, I believe you will need treatment of tear trough deformity as well as enhancing cheek volume. Tear trough can be treated with a syringe of HA, such as Juvederm (0.8 cc) but I believe for cheek volume, Radiesse is a better option and it provides more volume. You can start with one (1.5 cc) syringe of Radiesse but will likely need 2 syringes.
