8 weeks post op Tummy tuck & muscle repair. Pinching pulling pains in my top abs. Is this normal or should I be concerned ?

Around 6 weeks post op i noticed these pains. It's when I'm sitting, standing or any position I feel it pulling or pinching. I don't know if I shohld go in and get it looked at or what I should do

Yes, it is absolutely possible to have an abdominoplasty/tummy tuck without a diastasis repair.In fact, sometimes I do not do a diastasis repair in the unusual situation where someone has little- to- no fascial laxity.Best of luck.

Almond milk and Tummy tuck?

Truthfully, I am not certain as to the answer.That being said, I always suggest that patients refrain from vitamin E for two weeks prior to surgery.It would not hurt to also refrain from almond milk.Best of Luck.

There is a significantly higher incidence of necrosis and healing problems in smokers versus non smokers. To reduce this risk we ask our patients who smoke to stop smoking 4-6 weeks before surgery. We ask them not start again for several weeks afterwards until we are sure healing is complete....
