I'm having surgery to repair nasal septum, repair nasal cavity stenosis, Excision turbinate submucous. Reconstruct nose + maj septal. I'm having this surgery because of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome that collapsed my right sinus. My surgery is being done by a facial plastic ENT surgeon. My question is, is possible for my doctor to make my nose smaller while reconstructing my nose and is it okay for me to ask him to make it smaller?

The width of the tip of your nose is controlled by the two tip cartilages. Those cartilages can be modified to narrow the tip. The tip cartilages also control how *long* the nose is. Their strength holds the tip of the nose down, and often it's nice to elevate the tip a bit while we're narrowing...
Hello! Thank you for your question. As far as I can see from your photos this bump on your nose is cartilage. It is misplaced after the surgery. You need a revision rhinoplasty surgery to fix this bump. It would be more convenient to decide with face-to-face consultation. Best Regards!
Hello! Thank you for your question.8 months is a short time to make an evaluation. You may be experiencing swelling due to what you eat. It would be more accurate to make an evaluation after 1 year.it is more appropriate to talk to your surgeonBest regards!
