Should I get revision to lift columella? (photo)

Hi there. I had my rhino 15 months ago in LA to fix my columella and give me a slope (and fix deviated septum). Over past 15 months the columella has dropped considerably. I’m wondering if it needs to be raised more. I have a naturally high tip, so I’m not sure it’s going to suit me if it’s raised higher.

Hi there,Thank you for your question.I agree your columella has dropped, in the context of an overall excellent rhinoplasty and outcome. Personally I think it would look better if raised up like your early post op picture, althought his is simply a matter of taste - if you prefer it as is, then that is fine and there is nothing to do.If you feel it needs improvement, it should be possible to correct this under local anaesthesia as an office procedure, depending upon the office and practice circumstances of your rhinoplasty surgeon.
