I wear a FITBIT and am constantly aware of my heartrate. Before surgery, just sitting on the couch watching tv, my heart was 75bmp most of the time. The day after the surgery, my heartrate just sitting is 97 to 110. its been like this consistantly everyday since surgery and still is today 7 days post op. I wear compression stockings and have blood thinner injections everyday, i have NO chest pain or leg pain or signs of PE/DVT. Can surgery itsself cause a crazy heart rate? ECG normal sinus tachy
