Fell on my butt 2 weeks after BBL, did I ruin it?

Question

I slipped and fell on my right butt cheek 15 days after my bbl surgery. I have been very careful up until now. Although I got up very quickly I am worried that I ruined it. Is it possible to destroy the fat cells after 15 days?

Dear chewy75,After 15 days post op you should not be worried about fat survival, the good ones that will survive won't die with you falling down. I would be more worried about bruising or hematomas if your where taking blood thinner shots, if everything seems to look ok don't worry to much. Best wishes.

Thank you for your question. Most probably nothing will happen, the pressure caused by the fall shouldnt be sufficient to affect viability of the fat cells.  You could always follow up with the operating surgeon so that he /she can take a look.
