Breast lift rash - What should I do? (photo)

Hello!  Thank you for your question!  Glad to know that you are following up with your surgeon. As long as your surgeon has determined that the redness is a rash and not an infection, it could be treated as such. Sometimes it takes a few days after getting rid of the offending agent (eg, medication, adhesive, etc) for the rash to resolve. I would continue with the regimen given by your surgeon. Sometimes, Benadryl, both orally and topically, help to ameliorate the signs and symptoms. If fails to resolve or worsens, consideration for an oral steroid may be indicated.  Best wishes!

Hello and thank you for your question it would be helpful for others who have the same cituation as yours. As can be seen from your photos your doctor is right regarding the reaction of your skin for the tapes. You need to follow up your doctor's recommendations. Get well soon.

it is hard to tell for sure, bur based on your photos it looks like your plastic surgeon is right and you have bandages caused rash. I suggest you stay in touch with your plastic surgeon and follow his instructions.

It sounds like your plastic surgeon is systematically addressing the typical causes. Be patient, and follow up with your plastic surgeon. Best of luck!
