After my Breast Lift no implant, my breast look deformed. Is this normal? (photo)

Hi.  Immediately after surgery, the breast shape can look a little funny after a vertical breast lift, like what you had done.  The lower part of the breast can look a bit flat and over-tightened.  Fortunately, this all settles down over several months, resulting in a normal shape.  Hang in there!  Your pictures look like what is expected at this very early time period.  As always, speak with your surgeon for more explanation.All the best,

Thank you for your question and photo.  You are only 3 days out from surgery in the photo and there will be a lot of changes that occur over the next several months.  The lower breast skin will stretch and things will settle.  You are not fully healed for 4-6 months.  They will not look the same in 4 weeks as they do right now.  Be patient, follow up closely with your surgery and you will likely have a great result.  Best wishes.

I might agree but way tooooo early to really comment. Must wait 3 months to allow healing and reformation I hope! 

Your photos look appropriately like you just had surgery and the tissue has not had time to settle and heal and attain it's final shape.  Healing after breast surgery takes many weeks to months before the final outcome can be evaluated- try and be patient, I bet you will look great in the end!Best wishes, Dr. L

It is very early in your recovery based on the photographs that you show.  Your breast appearance and shape will changes dramatically over the next 3 months.  Please follow-up with your plastic surgeon but your appearance this early after surgery is not unusual.

It is not uncommon for the breasts to look this way 3 days after the procedure. I tell my patients to expect their result from 2-3 months onwards.Meanwhile, I recommend following your surgeon's instructions and adhering to follow ups.Good luck.

Hello and thank you for your question.  It looks like you have had a superior pedicure modified vertical lift. The way you look is typical for this form of lift and will settle down over the next 2 to 6 weeks. Looks to me as though you should get an excellent result. Try not to worry too much. When I do this technique I always warn my patients that the breasts will look somewhat deformed to start with. Peter Fisher M.D.
