Saline, 255/275cc, under muscle - are implants bottoming out? (Photos)

Question

I got my breasts done in October 2020 (saline 255/275cc under the muscle) I feel as if my breasts dropped too low/ are bottoming out. They're farther apart now and when I lay on my back they go to the sides. My nipples seem to be too high and far apart as well. Its uncomfortable going bra less & wearing underwire bras, I usually only wear sports bras. My scars also are not on my breast crease they're a little above, do I need to get a revision?

Good afternoon,
You do have bottoming out- when your surgeon made that crease incision they cut through all of the supportive tissues. I repair this with the Original Internal Bra, my strong permanent internal suturing technique. I first developed this technique over 20 years ago and today it is the most common revision I perform, 5-6 times a week- it works and it lasts!

Dear snails26,
bottoming out occurs when the implant falls below the current breast crease or inframammary line. It's more likely to happen with inframammary incisions, which is why I try not to use the inframammary approach to any breast surgery.
Bottoming out can also occur if an implant is too large for the breast pocket. That is why it is important to choose an implant size that's correct for your body. I perform numerous measurements in the office to determine optimal implant size for my patient's bodies.
If you are concerned, please check it with your plastic surgeon for reassurance and to further discuss your options and possibility of revision.

If you want, you could have your inferior pockets tightened to raise the implants up and you lateral pockets tightened to minimize the side movement.  I would suggest meeting with your surgeon and discussing your concerns. I would not go larger with heavier implants.
