Thank you for your question. We cannot completely rule out the possibility that the suture method was inappropriate, but this seems to have happened because your skin might have a keloid tendency. You can try scar revision that cuts the scar and sutures it again, but if you have keloid skin, the scar will pop out and widen again.In a non-surgical way, you can try injecting steroids into the scar.

I'm a little confused- one pic looks like an early postop and the other looks like a late postop with hypertrophic scarring- if so those can be revised.

It has more to do with your tendency to form thick scars and probably not related to the. closure technique. It may be worth undergoing a scar revision. It can probably be improved.

You have hypertrophic scars which can be treated or revised. You do run the risk of these recurring if not scar treatment is done after revision.
