Is it normal to feel dizzy after a breast augmentation 3 days ago?

I recently got my breast augmentation surgery done 3 days ago and I’m back at work . Is it normal to feel dizzy , nauseous and to have a headache after surgery :/? Don’t feel so well today . Help please

Thank you jennisal02 for your question and congratulations on your surgery.  I would recommend that you contact your surgeon with any questions pertaining to the symptoms you are experiencing.  Surgery does have a impact on the body, it could be dehydration or some reactions to some medications you are currently taking. Dear Jennisal.
It's not normal to feel dizzy (and nausea and headache) after a breast augmentation. It sounds like you might be dehydrated or your body's telling you that it's too early for a full day of work. I would suggest you consider going home early, but have somebody drive you home! 
It's also possible if you're taking medications for pain that these can make you dizzy as well. You better to plan for a few more days off and better hydration. Talk to your plastic surgeon on advice with your medications. See my video link below for more tips on the recovery process.

The medications that you received during surgery should have worn off by now. However, you may  be experiencing side effects of the pain medication. Please contact your surgeons office and discuss this with them. Good luck!

Hello and thank you for your inquiry.  It is normal to not feel well in general especially this early in your recovery.  Anesthesia is still in your system, so give it time and rest as much as possible.

Surgery does produce stress on your system which can be manifested with dizziness, headache and nausea.Because your body is repairing the surgery site, the body is working extra hard. You will fatigue more easily, need more sleep and need to hydrate well.Be sure you are drinking enough water that you have to urinate every 2-3 hours.Your symptoms are most likely due to: dehydration, side effects of narcotics, or doing too much too soon.Consult with your surgeon.
